Frat House Troopers is now available as an audiobook, read by the terrific Peter Brooke. All that Brandt and Donnelly goodness, delivered directly to your ears. I can only hope it would make for a more pleasant commute or stroll in the park!
Sequel to Frat House Troopers is a Go!
I’m happy to report that I’ve signed with Dreamspinner to publish the sequel to Frat House Troopers! It’s been a lot of fun to write the next chapter in the troopers’ lives, and I think you’ll enjoy their new adventure as well.
The publication date is April/May 2014, so it’ll be a while, but I’ll be using the time to come up with more capers for the boys to investigate.
Save a spot on your bookshelf for more fun with my two favorite troopers!
Sequel to Frat House Troopers!
For anyone’s who’s been wondering what’s happened to Officers Brandt and Donnelly since they wrapped up the case in Frat House Troopers, I have good news for you. I’ve completed a sequel, and Dreamspinner has it under consideration as we speak. The troopers have a new case, and of course it involves a little scandal and a whole lot of sexy.
Plus, the new book has 106% more Bryce and Nestor than FHT did. Those boys crack me up.
I’ll let you know when I hear from Dreamspinner!
The Book Vixen Gives Frat House Troopers 4 Frogs!
I love this review from J9 at The Book Vixen. Here are the best parts–the beginning and the end of the review:
If readers can look past the utterly ridiculous plot of this book then the characters are highly enjoyable and the MM romance delicious….This turned into one of my favorite MM romances lately and I even re-read a few scenes already. So long as readers don’t mind the silly plot, they should enjoy the characters and romance as I did.
“Utterly ridiculous plot!” You got that right, sister! That’s what was so fun about writing it. But then my new best friend J9 really nails what I was hoping everyone would get from the novel:
I think a lot of readers (me included) think of sexual orientation as linear where people fall on one side or the other but this novel asks readers to consider a more complicated view on sexuality where a straight man could fall in love with another straight man. I liked this exploration of sexuality because instead of being heavy it was handled with humor and heart.
This. I set out to write a fun romp with a serious message about sexual identity (for anyone who wanted to see it–many people don’t) and J9 got it. Thank you thank you thank you for your perceptive and generous review.

I’m so grateful for reviews that note the fact that this is my first novel–I’m feeling very much a beginner at all of this, and I love the support that comes by surprise in reviews. Thanks, Mr. P.!
